Careful Selection, Predictable Result

Information Week has just published a "Smartphone Browser Shootout". The result was somewhat predictable, given the careful selection of the “competition”. Information Week ignored all Symbian based devices, although the Nokia N75 met all the article’s criterion for device selection. Perhaps this was to avoid the unpleasant prospect of comparing two implementations of a Safari based browser. A case of not wanting to show that a European company could do a better job? Ironically much of the Web Browser for S60 development is done in the US, just up the road from Information Week, in Boston.
